The Week 10 Shuck
We Begin The Stretch Run
For most teams, the playoffs begin in late July. For the Hustle, they begin now. The Hustle have the inside edge on the San Diego Growlers for the final slot in the South. BUT the Growlers have an easy schedule and the Hustle have a brutal one. So Atlanta basically needs to win out, starting tonight in Carolina.
New podcast this week! Shaggy, Charlie, and JGT break down the best storyline in each division, and talk a bit about why end-of-quarter and end-of-game strategy is so important, but so hard to practice.

6-5 last week against the spread. Here’s this week’s picks and Watch Levels.
ATLANTA (+1.5) AT CAROLINA (-1.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 3.5
These two play each other every week, and the results are all over the place, so it’s hard to predict. I think Atlanta’s going to keep their playoff hopes alive with a mild upset.
HUSTLE 21-FLYERS 18
OAKLAND (-6.5) AT COLORADO (+6.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 3
Colorado is averaging 22.6 PPG in games in which Quinn Finer plays. They're averaging 15.8 PPG in games he doesn’t. Bad news for Apex fans: he’s not playing this week.
SPIDERS 23-APEX 15
OREGON (+5.5) AT SEATTLE (-5.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 2
The first time these two met, the Cascades won in a monsoon. The weather looks a lot better this time around, and the Steel are coming off a tremendous win against Toronto, while Seattle fell to the Rush. This one’s gonna be close.
CASCADES 18-STEEL 17
HOUSTON (-5.5) AT VEGAS (+5.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 2
This is the Bighorns best chance ever for a win. Houston is missing a bunch of starters, including Ben Lewis, Matt Bennett, and Jimmy Zuraw. What the hell, my record’s so terrible this season, I might as take the upset.
BIGHORNS 16-HAVOC 15
MADISON (-4.5) AT INDY (+4.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 3.5
A big game with major playoff implications, but unfortunately for the Alleycats, Elliot Hawkins and Xavier Payne are among 6 Radicals starters missing the game. Madison gets its third win against Indy.
RADICALS 18-ALLEYCATS 14
OAKLAND (-5.5) AT SALT LAKE (+5.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 3.5
The Spiders dominated the first time these two played, winning by 10. The Shred will keep it closer this time, but it won’t be enough.
SPIDERS 22-SHRED 17
HOUSTON (+8.5) AT SAN DIEGO (-8.5)
WATCH LEVEL: 2
The hard part of San Diego’s season is over, and they finish up with 2 against Houston and 2 against Vegas. Barring an absolute miracle, they’ll win all 4.
GROWLERS 23-HAVOC 16
SHAGGY’S RANKINGS
Shaggy’s back with his updated weekly rankings. The number beside each team indicates how much they rose or fell from last week. Teams that didn’t move have a = beside their name. Last week we had a ton of turnover, this week we have almost none.

TEAMS OF THE WEEK - OREGON STEEL
Congrats to the Steel on their first win of the season, a thrilling 22-21 upset win over Toronto in Overtime. Ben Thoennes (pictured) had 7 goals and Felix Moren had 9 assists to lead Oregon to victory.
NEWS AND NOTES
In case you missed it, here’s the scoober from Tuesday.
Over 2700 fans at the Wind Chill game this past weekend. In the rain. Unreal.
New end zone dance just dropped. Who’s doing it this weekend?
League made an awesome switch, and is making the Minnesota-Boston tilt on July 10th the Friday Night Frisbee game on Youtube. Mark your calendars, that’s gonna be a dandy.

Love it, I also think the Horns are going to get a first win tonight. Two typos: Missing a ‘well’ in bighorns havoc and you call Hawkins and co Radicals instead of Alleycats.
